Some Republican Presidential Candidates Deny Evolution
least three men running for president of the United States don't
believe in evolution. This was revealed during the Republican
presidential debate held on May 3 in California. When a reporter asked
if any candidates didn't believe in evolution, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Sen.
Sam Brownback and Rep. Tom Tancredo all raised their hands to indicate
their rejection of the foundation of modern biology. Sen. John McCain
said he believed in evolution, but also "believed the hand of God was
there" (referring to the Grand Canyon). See the short video clip of the exchange from onegoodmove.org.

Christian Terrorists Leave IED Outside Abortion Clinic
are always new reports about Muslims using IEDs to terrorize and kill
Americans in Iraq, but now we have a case of Christian terrorists using
IEDs to terrorize and try to kill Americans in Texas ó at an abortion
clinic, to be specific. Law enforcement is treating the matter
seriously, which is good, but I wonder if those who regularly complain
about Muslim extremism and terrorism will treat this incident in a
similar manner, or if they will start making excuses that they never
accept on behalf of Muslims." From about.com. <full story>

Army Officer On Pat Tillman's Death: Atheist Are "Worm Dirt"
Col. Ralph Kauzlarich, who conducted the first investigation into the
death of Pat Tillman comments to a reporter "When you die, I mean,
there is supposedly a better life, right? Well, if you are an atheist
and you don't believe in anything, if you die, what is there to go to?
Nothing. You are worm dirt. So for their son to die for
nothing, and now he is no more ó that is pretty hard to get your head
around that. So I don't know how an atheist thinks. I can only imagine
that that would be pretty tough." Full article from espn.com. Video clip of Tillman's mother testifying before Congress about this.
